Introduction to Liaoning Provincial College of Communications
Liaoning Provincial College of Communications (website) is located in the historical and cultural city of Shenyang. The predecessor of the school was the Northeast Transportation School, which was founded in 1951. It is the first specialized school established for the construction of New China.
At present, the college has a collection of 640,000 paper books. Campus network backbone 10 Gigabit, desktop Gigabit, wireless network full coverage. There are 10,224 full-time students, 640 faculty members, 475 full-time teachers, 99 senior titles, 169 deputy senior titles, 5 post-doctors, 29 doctors, and 391 masters.
Liaoning Provincial College of Communications’ majors include road construction and management, automobile aftermarket, road transportation and logistics, rail transit and other transportation industries such as transportation machinery, mechanical and electrical equipment manufacturing, and information technology. There are 44 existing majors, including 6 national key (demonstration) majors, 12 provincial-level brand (demonstration) majors, 10 provincial-level high-quality majors, and 5 provincial-level high-level specialty groups. Set up 9 series, 2 departments and 1 hospital, respectively, road and bridge engineering department, automobile engineering department, logistics management department, mechanical and electrical engineering department, building engineering department, surveying and mapping engineering department, information engineering department, management engineering department, rail transit engineering department, Sizheng Ministry, Physical Education Department, Continuing Education Training Institute.
Liaoning Provincial College of Communications adheres to the direction of socialist education and cooperates with Canada Centennial College to carry out cooperative projects. The international exchange work of our school began in the 1950s to train international students for the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. Since the 1980s, school leaders have always attached importance to international exchanges. Especially in the past ten years, the school has strengthened the introduction and localization of international advanced vocational education resources, and realized theoretical teaching, practical teaching and professional quality education. The organic combination has further enhanced the quality of our personnel training and the level of running schools.
At present, our college has cooperation with Canada Centennial College, the University of Oster, the University of Southeastern Taiwan, the College of Marine Technology of Taipei, the Volvo Heavy Machinery Company, BMW, Toyota, Nissan, and many other foreign universities and internationally renowned companies. Established inter-school exchanges and cooperation, sent more than 100 teachers and students to study abroad, and received more than 30 foreign short-term training teachers and students.
