Introduction to Soochow University
Soochow University (website) is located in Suzhou, a historical and cultural city known as the “paradise on earth”. It is the first batch of national “211 Project” and “2011 Plan”. It is the “double first-class” construction jointly established by the Ministry of Education and the People’s Government of Jiangsu Province.
School of Foreign Languages
The foreign language teaching of Suzhou University has a history of more than 110 years. Foreign language masters come forth in large numbers. Mr. Xu Guozhen and Mr. Yang Wei are outstanding representatives of foreign language masters from Soochow University.
School of Foreign Languages of Soochow University has a strong faculty. There are 237 in-service faculty members, including 18 professors and 73 associate professors; more than 70 teachers with doctoral degrees (or doctoral degrees) and 1 high-level foreign expert; 3 teachers are rated as Jiangsu Province and Suzhou. One of the university’s teaching teachers, one teacher was named as a special professor of Suzhou University, and one teacher was rated as the best talent training target of 333 engineering in Jiangsu Province; more than 90% of the teachers had overseas work, study abroad or visiting experience.
The school has always attached importance to teaching and personnel training. Currently, there are 9 undergraduate majors (professional direction) in English (including teacher’s), translation, Japanese, Russian (Russian and English), French (French and English), Korean, German, and Spanish. The college has more than 1,100 full-time undergraduate students, more than 320 full-time undergraduate and doctoral students.

1. The applicant should comply with the laws and regulations of China and have good work ethics, professional skills, and good teamwork spirit;
2. Native speaker of the target language, or target language as first language;
3. Having more than 3 years of teaching experience;
4. Born after 1 January,1960, and with good health.

Salary and Benefits
1. 20 periods of teaching per week (1 Period is 50 minutes), including 2 office hours, salary by negotiation;
2. 14 periods of teaching per week (1 Period is 50 minutes), including 2 office hours, salary by negotiation.
