Founded in 1958, Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (SDUTCM, website) was established as a national key hospital in China in 1978. In 1981, it became a key university in Shandong Province. It is an excellent school for the evaluation of undergraduate teaching level of the Ministry of Education, Shandong Provincial People’s Government and National Traditional Chinese Medicine Management. The bureau has jointly established Chinese medicine colleges and universities, Shandong Province applied basic talents to train famous universities, Shandong Province’s first batch of colleges and universities collaborative innovation center, Shandong Province’s first provincial-level civilized campus, Shandong Province’s first-class discipline construction unit, and provincial universities’ performance appraisal outstanding units.
Description – Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine ESL Jobs
This foreign teacher’s age should be 25-60 who comes from English speaking countries, with at least a bachelor’s degree and two-years teaching experience. If he/she doesn’t have at least two-years teaching experience, he/she can attend trainings like TEFL(Teaching English as a Foreign Language) or TESOL in China to get teaching qualification, or get bachelor’s degree on education, language or teaching, or get Teacher Certificaion. This position is as English Teacher in the Foreign Language College of Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. The teacher should be competent for the tasks of his/her position all the term around and effectively perform his/her duties. Courses are Oral English, Tourism English, Survey of Britain and America, etc.
Tasks: The teacher assumes no more than 16 teaching hours every week. He/she should obey teaching arrangement, accept professional guidance for the improvement of teaching quality, abide by rules and regulations regarding teaching management, and take part in the academic activities, for example, teaching seminars, organized by the Faculty.

1. Monthly salary: 7,000 RMB. A higher salary can be offered, depending on the candidate’s qualification and experience

2. If the teacher fulfills teaching tasks of a contract cycle (an academic year) with good teaching results and without teaching accidents, the teacher shall enjoy paid winter holiday (usually 5 or 7 weeks), our university shall pay international air tickets (economy class) for round-trip and offer travel subsidy of RMB 2200.
Requirements
1. No more than 16 classes per week, no office hours required (200RMB for each overtime class)
2. Native English speakers, bachelor’s degree or above
3. Under 60 years old, in good health
4. With English teaching experience, or holding a TEFL/TESOL/CELTA certificate
